Accessing cPanel

cPanel is a hosting control panel that allows you to easily manage your hosting account and website. You can log into cPanel both via your domain name or your domain’s IP address.

If your domain has already propagated, which usually takes 48-72 hours, you can access it through your domain name. Otherwise, use your domain’s IP address.

We have found a very useful beginners guide which we recommend to anyone new to cPanel.

To log into your cPanel, visit cpanel.[domainname], in our example, our domain would be wannadomain.co.uk therefore we would visit cpanel.wannadomain.co.uk. Enter the cPanel username and password and click log in.

If you are unsure on the correct username and password, please refer back to the New Account Information email you would have received some us - this will have a copy of the username and password in.

Once you’ve logged into your cPanel, you can start setting up email accounts, databases, shopping carts etc. When you want to get out of the cPanel, you can click the Log Out icon in the top right corner.
